After years of flying through life in a stampeding pursuit to succeed and conquer tasks and agendas, I had children.  I became a stay at home mom and then I began thinking, reading and forming my philosophy on parenting and living.  My conclusion was that I had it all wrong.  Success will not be in the flurry of enriching activities for toddlers and packed soccer game schedules but in the slow meandering of stay-in-your-pajama mornings, sleep in Saturdays and drinking deeply the lovely and messy life I live.

I’m residing in Scottsdale, Arizona and married for over a decade to a remarkable man.  We have five wonderful and active little ones.  I spent a decade as a single woman in a career that gave me incredible opportunities to travel, speak and work with the brilliant young hearts and minds of university students.   I am now fully embracing my season of parenting.  My attempts to slow down, manage the chaos, simplify, laugh, and love God, my life and my family are randomly chronicled in my blog.
